Juliana STEINBACH

Juliana Steinbach is a Franco-Brazilian pianist born on August 2, 1979 in João Pessoa, Brazil.
She began playing the piano in Lyon at the age of six, then continued her training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she obtained First Prizes in piano and chamber music.
She went on to perfect her skills with renowned masters such as Jacques Rouvier, Franco Scala, Maria João Pires and Joseph Kalichstein, notably at the Juilliard School in New York.
Her international career led her to win several prestigious competitions, including the Premio Vittorio Gui in Florence and the Beethoven Prize at the Trieste Competition.
Passionate about chamber music, she plays with renowned artists and has been a member of the Talweg Trio since 2011.
Juliana Steinbach is also a cultural entrepreneur: she founded the Musique en Brionnais festival in Southern Burgundy in 2005, and the Transylvania Chamber Music Festival in Romania in 2014.
